The Conservative Council have scrapped new housing developments for local families - sign below to call on the Conservatives to continue building new council homes.
Wandsworth Labour was delivering a new generation of modern council homes for local families, to tackle overcrowding and bring down our waiting lists.
Within their first month in office, the Wandsworth Conservatives have already started scrapping these new housing developments.
So far, 417 local people have lost the new council home that was planned and ready to be built for them. These are families that had been waiting for many years, often in overcrowded conditions.
We are calling on Wandsworth Council to build out all the new council homes that had planning permission so we can reach the 1000 council homes target.
