Cllr Aydin Dikerdem is one of your three Labour Councillors for Shaftesbury and Queenstown ward.
Aydin is Battersea born and raised. He got active locally when the old Tory Council sold off his school’s playground during austerity. Having grown up in Wandsworth he is committed to making sure everyone gets a chance to thrive in our borough. A housing campaigner and organiser, he worked for the New Economics Foundation and with the London Renters Union before taking on the Cabinet role for Housing in Wandsworth. He is committed to making sure everyone gets access to affordable and safe housing.
Important voting information for those voting in person on Thursday 7th May:
- You can vote anytime between 7am and 10pm.
- You DON’T need your poll card to vote: just turn up and give your name and address.
- You now need photo ID to vote.
- You have three votes, you can vote for all three Labour candidates.
- If you make a mistake on your ballot paper, ask for another
If voting by post, please cast your vote a few days before polls close on 7th May.
